2017 Art • Wine • Pairing
Final Friday February 24, 2017 6-10 p.m.
Does any other wine event dare to prove that fine art can be paired with fine wine and expressive music, and exquisite Sargento cheeses, and decadent chocolate to bring out the best of all?
Two ways you can enjoy the evening:
1. View art work in various mediums* presented in the main gallery. As usual, the exhibit is free and open to the public, with tasty hors d’oevres, affordable drinks (including a special selection of fine wines) and good friends, old and new.
2. Join the Sensory Overload Pairing Experience at either 6:15 or 7:15 pm—in the Vihos studio. Jaclyn Stuart and Jon Doll and the five Featured Artists will guide you through five works of original art—and pair each with a carefully selected wine and cheese plus live interpretative music. You and your friends will be delighted and amazed! Reserve your places in the Pairing Experience for only $20 per person. On the day of the event, tickets will be $25, if any remain.
Certified sommelier Jaclyn Stuart, proprietor of Vintage Elkhart Lake, is co-author of The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Wine and Food Pairing. In 2011, she was honored as the TopNewSomm in the Great Lakes Region from the Guild of Sommeliers.
Musician Jon Doll is a man of many talents. Via London England and Seattle Washington, he came home to lead Sheboygan United Way as its Executive Director. He composes, sings, and plays a mean guitar!
